There are plenty of things that are made out of metal. Look around you and see.
Water bottles
Benches
fences
Signs
Pens
Doors
Just some everyday things that I looked around and saw.
Anything that can’t be made out of plastic or ceramic because they aren’t sufficiently strong, heat-resistant, tough, or dense for the application. Anything that has to be strongly magnetic or carry electric current. Reflective coatings. Flywheels. Bullets. Tank armor. Blades, clippers and snippers. Pennies, but that may change. Safety shoe inserts. Olympic discuses. Precision micrometers. Tools with high stresses, generally, like wrenches and pliers. Military medals. Gongs, bells, chimes. X-ray shields. Nuclear fission reactor rods· Typically a form of corrosion resistant steel such as the 300 series stainless steel for permanent ware.
For the plastic type the materials can vary depending on cost, required effectiveness and durability. Clearly all plastics used need to meet the FDA or equivalent requirements.
