✇ Northern Mountainous Region

The Northern Mountain Region forms a natural barrier for India in the North and the North-East . It is the highest mountain region in the world .These mountain ranges start from Pamir Knot in the west and extend up to Purvanchal in the east.

✇ Island

To the west of the coast of Kerala, there exists a cluster of small islands. They are collectively known as the Lakshadweep. A bigger cluster known as the Andaman and Nicobar islands is located in the Bay of Bengal.
