There are many proteins some having distinct functions n some having same functions. Example
1. All enzymes are proteins like pepsin, trypsin, dehydrogenases, oxygenases etc.
They have catalytic actions in specific reactions.
2. Action and myosin. These are contractile proteins present in muscles and help in their movement.
3. Collagen , elastin. These are structural proteins that constitute framework of majority of the connective tissues.
4. Fibrin, Prothrombin etc which are involved in clotting.
5. Albumins involved in osmotic balance.
6. Globulins mainly involved in defence mechanisms.
