Guda Bishnoi Lake is inhabited by the Bishnoi community.The villagers are staunch worshipers of nature especially the animals. They protect the animals.

Dhawa Doli Wildlife Sanctuary is located 45 kms south west of the city Jodhpur city and lies on the road to Barmer. It is home to large number of cheetal, black bucks partrides, sambhar, desert foxes and rats ,antelopes, and nilgai.

Machiya Safari Park is 9 kms away from the city of Jaisalmer.  It lies close to the Kaylana Lake.This place is home to jungle cats, desert foxes, common foxes, porcupines, desert cats, monitor lizards, spiny-tailed lizards, hedgehogs, spotted deer, crocodiles, leopards, gavials, mongoose, black bucks, Royal Bengal Tiger, gazelles, rabbits, Asiatic lions and tortoise.

Jalore Wildlife Safari lies 130 km from Jodhpur near the town of Jalore. It is home to some of the endangered wild animals. One can see animals like desert fox, Indian gazelle, leopard, tawny eagle,  Asian-steppe wildcat and long-billed vulture. Gazeelles ,antelopes and herds of blue bulls can be seen roaming freely here.
