Menu Bar – it has file, edit, view, insert, format, tools, table, window and help menus.

Standard Toolbar – It has shortcut icons to the menu commands.

Formatting Toolbar – It has various menus for style, font and font-size, bullets and number, border icons etc.

The four most common and popular components of ms-word interface:-

1. Menu Bar- It basically consists of all the menu options. Example: File, Edit, Tools, view.

2. Task Pane- Group together most commonly used features for the user's ease.

3. Formatting Toolbar- Contains all formatting shortcuts like color, style, font size.

4. Status bar- It shows the total page numbers,  current page number, pointer's position on the screen.
