What are Sonorous Elements ?

Elements (Metals or Non-metals) that are able or have the capability to produce ringing sounds are said to be sonorous, or we can say they have have sonority. All of the metals are sonorous except for mercury.

All of the Non metals being either in liquid or gaseous state do not have the ability to produce  or show sonority, therefore there are no examples for Sonorous non metals.

Explanation:

A sonority hierarchy or sonority scale is a hierarchical ranking of speech sounds. Sonority is loosely defined as the loudness of speech sounds relative to other sounds of the same pitch, length and stress, therefore sonority is often related to rankings for phones to their amplitude.
