Solar cells are devices that convert light energy from sunlight directly into electric current. They are mainly made of the semiconductor material Silicon and gallium which absorb the sun light efficiently. On an average, They produce voltage range of 0.4-0.5V. The efficiency can be further increased by increasing the exposed surface area.
