Name any three major division of the Himalayas from North to South Describe them

the three major division of Himalayas from north to south are as follow :-

1. the inner Himalayas or greater Himalayas  also called himadri are the highest mountain, with an average height of above 4877 m. the highest peaks are found in this range. they are mount Everest 8850 m on the Nepal china border ,Kanchenjunga 8586 m on the indo Nepal border and nanda Devi 7820 m in uttrakhand. the range is permanently covered with snow

2. the lesser or middle Himalayas or Himachal lie in the south of the greater Himalayas . their average height ranges between 3600m and 4500m. this range is marked by fast flowing rivers streams etc.

3. the outer Himalayas or the shivaliks from the lowest range with the average height of 900m to 1500m. this range lies between  northern plains and lesser Himalayas it is more marked in western parts and does not reach the east .
