Answer:

Mouth ; Oesophagus ; Stomach ; Pancreas ; Liver ; Small Intestine ; Large Intestine

Explanation:

Mouth Contains Ptylin which converts starch into maltose

Stomach has gastric juice known as H.C.L. and contains mucus to protect walls of stomach from the action of Hcl and has pepsin to convert protein into peptone and renin to convert caseignogen into caseign

Small Intsetine receives juices from liver i.e. bile juice which doesnt have any enzyme and helps in break down of fat it also the activator of enzyme lipase then pancreatic juices have three enzymes trypsin converts peptone into peptide and amylase converts starch into maltose and lipase emulsifies fat

Answer:

Organs that help in digestion:

1. Stomach

  • The stomach is like a J-shaped sac made of muscles which has the capacity to hold up to 2 litres of food.
  • For digestion, the inner lining of the stomach secretes hydrochloric acid and digestive juices. It also produces mucus which protects the inner lining of the stomach from acid preventing the stomach from digesting itself.
  • The secreted acid kills some harmful bacteria that might enter along with the food. The digestive juices in the stomach help breakdown proteins into simple, usable form.

2.Liver

  • Liver, the reddish-brown organ, plays a major role in digestion.
  • It secretes bile juice which is then stored in a sac called gall bladder.
  • bile juice helps in breaking down fat into simple substances.

3. Small Intestine

  • Small intestine is a long tube-like part of the digestive tract that connects the stomach and the large intestine.
  • Muscles in small intestine mix the food with more digestive juices, some of the juices are produced in small intestine itself while other are secretions of liver and pancreas-organs which are located just below the stomach.
