- Labor: Plenty of cheap unskilled and skilled labor must be present near the location of the industry.
- Market: A market, such as an urban city must be close by to sell produced good easily and effectively.
- Transport facilities: The industry must be situated in a location which has good transport facilities, like ports in the sea, highways or, airports.
- Further, there must be cheap power availability and the location must have easy access to services like banking, insurance, transport, labor, finance etc.
All these factors help increase the profits of an industry, and hence are important factors in determining the location of the industry.
