Answer:  Antibiotics are the medicinal preparation which kill bacteria or slow their growth in the body. Antibiotics are derived from a microbial source which mimic the one which is already present in the body, developing disease symptoms. Through antibiotics the microbe enters the body and fight against already present microbe. Hence, provide immunity against disease causing microbe.

The two antibiotics derive from microbial sources are:

1. Bacitracin : It is obtained from gram positive bacteria named as Bacillus subtilis.

2. Polymyxin B : It is obtained from gram negative bacteria named as Bacillus polymyxa.
