name any two areas where lignite is found in India

Lignite is extensively used in pit head thermal power plants and industries nearby. Lignite deposits in India is confined to states of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Pondicherry, Jammu & Kashmir and Kerala where coal is almost absent.
