• Single-Stranded DNA Protein: It helps in the prevention of the strands from re-associating.
It also protects them from degradation that occurs due to nucleases.
• Helicases: It provides ‘Swivel’ in front of each of the replication fork.
They nick both the strands of DNA and insert super coils with the help of DNA gyrase.
