with increase in surface area Rate of evaporation increases. ex-it is easier to sip hot tea from a saucer rather than a cup
humidity :
with increase in humidity rate of evaporation decreases. ex-air contains water molecules in the form of water vapour so there are less vacant spaces for particles of water to evaporate... and come in air particles
