Mysuru division and Karnataka neeravari nigam limited are two major irrigation projects in Mysuru division.
Krishna Bhagya Jala Nigam limited: The state has formed Krishna Bhagya Jala Nigam Limited in 1956 vide G.O. No. ID/25/WBM/95, dated 06-05-94 with a view to speed up the works of Upper Krishna Project and to complete it at the earliest.
This Nigam is working since 19th August 1994.
Karnataka neeravari Nigam limited: The state has constituted Karnataka Neeravari Nigama Limited under the act 1956 and was established vide G.O. No. ID: 201:KBN:98 dated 26-11-98 with a view to expediting the works in Krishna basin except for UKP.
This Nigam is functioning since 9th December 1998.
