Pancha Rathas is a monument complex at Mahabalipuram, on the Coromandel Coast of the . Though sometimes mistakenly referred to as temples.It is known especially for its rathas (temples in the form of chariots), mandapas (cave sanctuaries), giant open-air reliefs .The structures are named after the Pancha Pandavas and their common wife Draupadi, of epic Mahabharata fame.

Built in 1156 by King Rawal Jaisal, Jaisalmer Fort dominates the countryside in the far northwestern corner of Rajasthan, near the border of India and Pakistan. It is a two hundred and fifty feet tall and reinforced by an imposing crenellated sandstone wall 30 feet high. Its outer wall of palaces, houses and temples are made of soft yellow sandstone.
