Kempe Gowda was the founder of Bangolre. It was called Bengaluru before. It is believed that originally it was called Benda Kaluru. After many years, The Britishers renamed it as Bangalore. P.C Mohan is the present MP (Member of Parliament) of Bangalore. Bangalore has many nicknames. Some of them are -  India's Electronic City, Paradise Space City,  India's IT Capital, Science City of India, India's Garden City etc.
