There are a number of stored grain insect pests that everyone has to come across.

Two of those are -- Lesser Grain borer and Granary weevil.

The Lesser Grain borer causes the most trouble and it is basically a 3mm long beetle shaped pest. The females lay up to 500 eggs.

The Granary weevil adult female lays up to 450 eggs at one time.
