There are five forms of sentences:
1. DECLARATIVE SENTENCE: They make a statement or declare something. These sentences are also know as ASSERTIVE SENTENCES.
Example: Peter, shut the door.
2. IMPERATIVE SENTENCE: A sentence that expresses a command , a request or a desire is called a imperative sentence.
Example: Please close the door on your way out.
3. INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE: The sentences that ask question are called interrogative sentences.
Example: Who was that Women?
4. EXCLAMATORY SENTENCE: The sentences that express surprise are EXCLAMATORY sentences.
Example: What a beautiful morning!
