There are five forms of sentences:

1. DECLARATIVE SENTENCE: They make a statement or declare something. These sentences are also know as ASSERTIVE SENTENCES.

Example: Peter, shut the door.

2. IMPERATIVE SENTENCE: A sentence that expresses a command , a request or a desire is called a imperative sentence.

Example: Please close the door on your way out.

3. INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE: The sentences that ask question are called interrogative sentences.

Example: Who was that Women?

4. EXCLAMATORY SENTENCE: The sentences that express surprise are EXCLAMATORY sentences.

Example: What a beautiful morning!
