Basically,rank structure in Indian army is divided into three parts,

1.CO ( Commissioned officers )

2.JCO ( Junior commissioned officers ) and

3.NCO ( Non commissioned officers)
Subedar major

Subedar

Naib subedar

Havilland

Naik

Lance naik

Sepoy.

lowest rank is sepoy
