Sheep wool is commonly available in the market.
sheep wool is obtained from sheep. The obtained from one sheep is called fleece. The person who removes wool from sheep is known as shearer. The wool which is obtained from sheep is used in different articles like knitwear, socks etc etc.
It is used in the furniture trade both for making chair covers and for upholstery. An estimated one million sheep die every year of exposure after premature shearing. Another problem with sheep shearing is that the shearers are not paid by the hour, but by volume. It takes up to six weeks for the fleece to regrow sufficiently to provide effective insulation. Sheared sheep also require more feed to maintain their body temperatures, especially during the winter.
