In the human digestive system, mainly 2 enzymes are responsible for the digestion of proteins. Which are:
a) Pepsin- it is an enzyme produces in the stomach, which is derived (activated) from pepsinogen in the stomach's acidic medium. This enzyme helps break down proteins into simpler amino acids called Proteases and Peptones.

b) Trypsin- It is an enzyme produces by the Pancreas and secreted into the Small Intenstine, which is activated from Trypsinogen. This is the second time proteins are acted upon, as it breaks down the complex amino acids into the simplest amino acids.

Hii

Here is your answer -

Pepsin in the gastric juice acts on the proteins and forms peptones and proteoses.

Trypsin, chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidases are the proteolytic enzymes found in pancreatic juice which acts on the proteins, peptones and proteoses and forms dipeptides

Dipeptidases found in intestinal juice acts on dipeptides to form amino acids.
