Explanation: Hyderabad and Secunderabad is divided by the Hussain Sagar lake.

Hussain Sagar lake is a necklace shaped lake which was built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. It got its name from  Hussain Shah Wali. It is fed by river Musi and spreads across an area of 5.70 kms having a maximum depth of 32 ft.

The lake which is regarded as the heritage site of India was named as the 'Heart of the World' on 27th September during 2012. The announcement came on the day of World Tourism Day. The title was awarded on being the  the World's Heritage Heart shaped Mark, World's Largest Heart Shaped Mark, and the World's Wonderful Heart Shaped Mark compared to other heart shaped lakes and islands around the  world.
