One of the important building or structure of the Indus Valley Civilisation was ‘The Great Bath’.
It is one of the well known structure of the time and the said civilisation. It has been traced and found in the ruins of the old settlement of Mohenjo-Daro i.e. in the present day Sindh of Pakistan.
According to the studies and archaeological research, the structure of ‘The Great Bath’ has been built in the 3rd millennium BCE. This historically significant structure is the earliest form of public water tank or reservoir. The structure acknowledges the human settlement in the area and the usage of the basic necessity of life and survival by the public via a public utility structure that was constructed back then.
