Answers
a) mouth
b brain
c stomach
d heart
e lung pipe
f bone joint
Answer-
(a) Intercalary meristem-
Location- Base of leaves and internodes.
About- They are located at the base of leaves or internodes. It produces an increase in the length of an organ such as leaves and internodes.
(b) Nervous tissue-
Location- Brain, spinal cord and nerves.
About- Nervous tissue is a tissue which is specialized to transmit messages within our body. Brain , spinal cord and nerves are all composed of nervous tissue.
(c)Adipose tissue-
Location- Skin, Between the internal organ and yellow bone marrow.
About- Adipose tissue is basically an aggregation of fat cells or adipocytes. It acts as an insulator. Being a poor conductor of heat , it reduces heat loss from body.
(d)Cardiac muscles-
Location- In the walls of heart.
About- Cardiac muscles show characteristic of both smooth and striated muscles. The contraction and relaxation of the heart muscles help to pump and distribute blood to various parts of body.
