hi mate☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is very harmful gas as its increased level displaces the level of oxygen gas within the blood by binding stronger bonds with the Fe-atom of haemoglobin molecule in the body. This happens because the CO-gas has more affinity with Iron than the Oxygen gas. This lack of oxygen causes anoxia and a damage to memory, brain function, behavior and cognition.
It is released from the combustion of fuels like gasoline, kerosene etc.
thanks☺☺☺☺☺☺

Breathing the high concentrations of CO typical of a polluted environment leads to reduced oxygen (O2) transport by hemoglobin and has health effects that include headaches, increased risk of chest pain for persons with heart disease, and impaired reaction timing.
Hope this helps you.
