Aerenchyma is the plant tissue that provides buoyancy to plants.

Explanation:

Buoyancy is the character of those plants which are termed as hydrophytes. In order to prevent the plant from getting submerged, the parenchyma tissue of these plants gets modified as specialized tissue called as Aerenchyma.

Aerenchyma provides the buoyancy to the hydrophytes and helps them to float and prevents the plant from getting submerged because they are composed of internal air space. This air space helps in floating as well as exchange of gas.
