Name some natural substances which are used as fumigants in farming… Does fumigation kill pests like pesticides do or just get rid of pests???

Neem is a natural fumigant which is less expensive and non toxic. It's less effective than the artifical fumigants like aluminum phosphide . We can use steam as well to fumigate the crops. They are less toxic so they are not much effective.
