Rajendra Singh who was on born 6 August 1959 is a famous water conservationist & ecologist from Alwar region of Rajasthan in India. Also perceived as "waterman of India", he received the Stockholm Water Prize. He operates an NGO  which is named as 'Tarun Bharat Sangh' (TBS), helped to  create over 8,600 johads and many water storage buildings to accumulate rainwater for the dry summer which helped to bring water back to over 1,000 settlements and recovered the water of five rivers Jahajwali , Arvari, Sarsa, Bhagani, and  Ruparel in Rajasthan.
