5 biosphere reserve in India:-

1. the oldest biosphere reserve is Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve in 1986. it is a part of three states which are Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.

2. Sundarbans in 1989 located in West Bengal.

3. Pachmarhi biosphere reserve in 1999 located in Madhya Pradesh.

4. cold desert in 2009 located in Himachal Pradesh.

5. great Rann of kutch in 2008 located in Gujarat.
