Note :- There are many ACIDS present in non - metals , Here is one of them
- Non-metals are themselves acceptors of electrons so there is no way they can donate electrons to the hydrogen ion of the acid. Hence, non-metals in general do not react with dilute acids . Non-metals will normally not react with water, however, non-metal oxides will react with water to form acids .
