There are four gases produced -

Sulphur dioxide

Carbon dioxide

Nitrous oxide

Methane

Some gases are produced due to incomplete combustion of the fuel and some gases are produced due to complete combustion of the fuel.

These are produced because while burning fuels and gases releases the oxide or dioxide forms of the fuels.
