Indian Independence Act of 1947. provided legal sanctity to the Constituent Assembly.
- The Constituent Assembly was permitted to operate because of this legislative authorization after India gained independence. The Assembly attained independence.
- The Objectives Resolution has three points, which are:
- The only thing a free India will be is a "republic."
- All citizens would be guaranteed the values of social, political, and economic democracy.
- Citizens would be granted Fundamental Rights by the Republic.
- Babasaheb Ambedkar included the following four tenets in the Constitution:
- made the Indian Constitution sturdy, adaptable, and functional so that it could keep the nation together in both peace and war.
- Provided specific protections for groups of people who are socially and educationally disadvantaged, such as minorities and some classes.
