Part of the large mosque next to the Qutb Minar in Mehrauli. This part of the complex dates from the early 13th century, and was constructed by Iltutmish, the second ruler of the Mamluk, or Slave, dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate.

Qutbuddin Aibak built Arhai-din-ka-jhopra mosque in Ajmer and Quwwat-ul-islam mosque at Delhi. He also started the Qutb Minar. Shamsuddin Iltutmish completed the With Minar and built his own tomb in red sandstone in Delhi. Razia and Nasiruddin Mahmud built many schools.
