Salivary glands :-

Digestion of food starts from the buccal cavity itself. The salivary glands present in the mouth secrete saliva which helps in the basic breakdown of food material.

These glands are located in the inner parts of the mouth.

Liver :-

The liver is another important gland which secretes the bile juice prepared by the gall bladder. Bile juice helps to convert fats to fatty acids that can be absorbed by the body.

Liver is located at the end of the oesophagus, beside the stomach.

The largest gland in our body is liver.

Pancreas :-

Pancreas is another important gland that produces important hormones (such as insulin) and other enzymes for digestion of food.

It is located beneath the stomach and on the upper side of the large intestine and in very small in nature.

• Sublingual Gland - These glands are smallest salivary gland . These gland are present under floor of our mouth and below either side of tongue .
