The Grasserie or Jaundice of silkworm was first reported by Nysten (1808) and was named as Polyederkrankhet (Whal, 1909) and then as polyhedrosis (Prell, 1926). The name refers to polyhedral bodies of the virus Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus (BmNPV) causing the disease.

Answer:

Polyhederosis is the disease refers to polyhedral bodies of virus Bombyx mori nuclear polyhedrosis virus ( BmNPV)

Explanation:

The virus BmNPV causes Polyhederosis that when induced into Bombyx mori silk worm causes autophagy in the organism.

Autophagy is a process which is natural and is regulated.

In this process the cell recognises the unnecessary parts or organells in the cell and kills them
