Explanation:

This sacred book of the Indian government was written by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Adopted on November 26, 1949, the constitution was legally enforced on January 26, 1950.

This book was primarily written in English and Hindi.  The original English draft was built with around 117,369 words. It consists of preface, Parts, Schedules and Appendix.

The Constitution of India in its “Preamble declared India as a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, and Democratic Republic”. It lays down the rights and fundamental duties of the citizens .

Its final draft is the world’s longest draft and longest handwritten, handwritten in elegant calligraphy by Prem Behari Narain Raizada.

It was first published in Dehradun and the main original copies stored in the Parliament of India’s Library encased in helium-filled cases.
