Ringworm
Causative organisms : This disease is caused by fungi which belongs to the genera named Trichophyton, Microsporum and Epidermophyton.
Symptoms : Dry and scaly lesions starts appearing on different parts of body like on skin, nails, etc.
Elephantiasis
Causative agent : Wuchereria malayi as well as Wuchereria bancrofti are responsible for this disease.
Symptoms : Genital organs gets affected, chronic inflammation occurs in the lower limbs and also in the vessels of lymph.
Ringworm is caused due to fungus.
•Epidermophyton, trichophyton, Microsporum are the causative fungus for ringworm
.•It is a skin infection, which causes severe itching and burning sensation on the skin.
•It is commonly seen in areas like groin, nape of the neck, toes, etc..

Elephantiasis is caused by a roundworm which is a nematode
