The Causative microorganism which causes rust disease in wheat is a fungus named  Puccinia triticina. This fungi disease can be found mostly in the temperate climate particularly in winter. Nearly 20 percent of yield is subject to loss because of this rust disease.

The causative microorganism which causes blast is paddy is a fungus named Magnaporthe oryzae. Blast is one of the severe diseases that affects the yield of paddy. Most  part of the plant from leaf to leaf sheaths can be affected by the Magnaporthe oryzae.

The causative microorganism which causes yellow vein mosaic in Okra is a virus named monopartite Begomovirus also known as Bhendi yellow vein mosaic virus.
