Hey mate!!

________________________________________________________________

During respiration glycolysis occurs in cytoplasm.

For break down of 1 complete molecule of glucose glycolysis occurs two times.

In glycolysis there is net gain of 8 ATP molecule.

Then, there is link chain where

Net gain is 1NADPH2(for 1 cycle)

Then Kerb cycle,

It runs on inner membrane of MITOCHONDRIA.

Cellular respiration is the multi-step process that creates energy from nutrients and food molecules.

It begins in the cytoplasm of the cell, with the mitochondria functioning as the main organelle where the rest of the process continues and finishes.

HOPE it helps!!
