NAME the cell organelle which gives rise to the acrosome in animal sperm?

ANSWER♥
the Golgi complex
The acrosome develops during spermiogenesis and is the product of the Golgi complex. Here, the biogenesis starts when proacrosomic vesicles generate from the Golgi complex belonging to early spermatids.
✺Answer
Also known as Golgi apparatus or Golgi complex helps in the formation of Acrosome in the head part of Animal sperm. The Acrosome consists of Enzymes that helps in breaking down the outer membrane of Egg(Ovum), so that the sperm can enter and the gametes fuse to form Zygote.

The Golgi bodies are cell organelles found in Animal cell as well as plants, but in plants, They are known as Dictyosomes. It was discovered by Camillio Golgi in the nerve cells of owl.
They are generally absent in Mammalian RBC and prokaryotic organisms like bacteria and BGA(Blue greeen algae). They have flattened sacs known as Cisternae and they forms small vacuoles and vessicles. It is also known as Secretory organelles because it stores and pack many useful substances in vacuoles. Like the enzymes require to form cell membrane are made in ER and packed in golgi body. Generally, The GB is crescent shaped with a convex side and a concave side. The Convex Side is the Cis face which faces towards Nucleus and the concave one is the trans face which faces towards plasma membrane.

- The Golgi body helps in the secretion of hormones, enzymes, etc. These are made in ER but packed and stored in GB and sent to respective parts.
- It helps in making of Cell wall and Cell membrane.
- It helps in storage and modifications of secretory products in vesicles.☘
- It converts complex sugar to simple sugar.
