Cytoplasm is composed of many living and non living parts called cell organelles.
1) Mitochondria (produces energy from the food)
2) Endoplasmic reticulum ( synthesizes, transports and stores materials)
3) Golgi complex (secretes enzymes, proteins and hormones)
4) Lysosome (help in breaking down of various materials)
5) Ribosome (protein synthesis takes place here)
6) Vacuole (the space within the cytoplasm containing cell sap (mostly in plants))
