The chemical name of plaster of Paris is Calcium sulphate hemihydrate
it's formula is : CaSO4.1/2 H2O
It is manufactured by heating Gypsum at 100 degree celcius . On heating Gypsum it loses water molecules and form Plaster of Paris .
