Answer: i) Plasma

               ii) Hemoglobin in RBC

Explanation: The component of blood which transport

i) Food, carbon dioxide and nitrogenous wastes is Plasma.

ii) The component which carries oxygen is Hemoglobin in RBC.

Plasma: It covers most part of our blood. It covers nearly 55% of the total blood of our body and is light yellow in color. It acts as a carrier of nutrients, hormones, and proteins to the various body parts. It also transports the waste products like ammonium salts, uric acid and creatinine from the body cells to the kidneys. The kidneys acts as a filter station and remove these toxic wastes out of the plasma and release them in the form of urine from the body.

Hemoglobin in RBC: The red blood cells carries oxygen from the lungs to the body tissues and removes carbon dioxide from the tissues. Hemoglobin which is an essential protein found in the red blood cells transports oxygen from the lungs to every parts of the body.

Hope this helps.
