Chromosomes are composed of chromatin material. Chromatin is a fibrous heredity material formed by DNA-histone complex. Basically, the DNA-histone thread consists of nucleosome chains. The nucleosome chains are made of histone proteins forming charged cores around which Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is wrapped.
