The hardest connective tissue is Bone. The bone is hard because it contains large amount of calcium and phosphorous.
Function of bone-
1.It protects the internal organs such as heart and lungs from mechanical injury.
2.Provides framework for body support.
3.Helps in body movements such as walking, sitting, etc.
