Name the constituents of blood. Why are white blood corpuscles called 'soldiers of the body'?

The constituents of blood are RBCs, WBCs, platelets and plasma. WBCs are so called as they fight against foreign bodies in the blood and protect the body and thus they are agents of defence mechanism of our body .

White blood corposules called soldiers of body because they can fight with the disease and the germ present in our body carried by blood and help to maintain our body healthy.
