A large supercontinent was broken into two parts almost 225 million years ago.

It broke into two segments, one of the segment is known as the Angaraland or the Laurasia.It was the north segment of that ancient supercontinent.

Present continents like the Europe, North America,Asian territory(except India,India was part of Gondwana land) is formed from the supercontinent named as the "Angaraland".
