There are 6 types of Landforms in India

The northern plains

The northern plains are flush with agricultural purposes and high density population

The Great Desert

The thar desert is the largest desert in India, deserts are covered with sand and less vegetation and irrigational facilities, locates in the western regions of India

The Peninsular Plateaus

They are located in the western and eastern ghats of India

The coastal Plains

India has a coastal area of 7516.6 km, fishing is a common profession with agriculture in small hands

The Islands

India has islands over both its eastern and western parts namely Lakshwadeep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

The Mountains

The himalayas in the northern range are known in the world for its high peaks and frosty climate and glaciers, They are a major tourist attraction.
