State government: In India, the Central governments is the higher level government of the State Government. Each state in a country is governed by the "state government".
There are '29 state governments' in our country, where each of them are headed by the 'Governor' and the 'Chief Minister'. Chief Minister is also the head of the 'Council of Ministers'.
Local government: 'Local government' is a form of "public administration", which is the lowest administrative unit of any state or nation in most places. It is administered by the district, province, state or nation.
